I love hand-building clay into forms that mimic the ebbs and flows of rock, water and earth. Painting or carving designs that spring from my imagination onto organically shaped functional forms is a deeply satisfying force in my work while imprinting feathers, plants, or rocks into raw clay fulfills my respect for the tactile beauty of the world around me. I use glazes sparingly, always choosing combinations which reflect the colors of the planet in all her shapes and seasons.
